The Linksys DMRIR500 IR Remote Control is a part of the new Linksys by Cisco Wireless Home Audio (WHA) line. The WHA is a multi-zone, entire-house audio system that connects together using draft 802.11n wireless networking, Ethernet, and DLNA 1.5 to create a system that allows the user to wirelessly play and control music in every room of the home and can be pieced together by cost and need. The Linksys DMRIR500 IR Remote is designed to give the user push-button control over Linksys Wireless Home Audio components such as the Linksys DMC250 Director, Linksys DMP100 Player, and Linksys DMC350 Conductor. The user can build and play cue-lists and set up and play music in different rooms of the home using the IR Remote Control.
