Linksys WRT110

The Linksys WRT110 is a wireless broadband router, giving users the ability to share a broadband (Cable, DSL) internet connection. The WRT110 also functions as a wireless access point and 4-port 10/100 full duplex wired switch, allowing users to network their home or small office. The WRT110 uses 256-bit encryption to protect all wireless data transmissions. This router takes advantage of Wireless-N technology, but is also compatible with Wireless-G and –B technologies. The WRT110 was released February 2008, and retails for $45.

no Gigabit or wireless N capabilities is limiting if there will be a large amount of data transfer (such as large files) over the network

Have it, and trying to resolve some serious issues. Not sure if its the firmware version or some other problem, but this router drops connection (including wired connections) when new machines join network.

Version 1.0.0.4 (the only version currently posted on Cisco's site) is highly problematic. I've seen any number of complaints from people whose routers crash as soon as a second computer attempts to get onto the wireless network.
