Lite-On eTAU208

The Lite-On eSAU208 is an ultra-thin, top-load DVD/CD writer that connects via a USB 2.0 interface. Unlike the eSAU208, DVDs and CDs are inserted by swinging the top-load panel upwards—much like a standard CD player. Other than that minute difference, however, the model is in no way different than its predecessor. It also handles single/dual-layered DVDs, both 8cm and 12cm sizes, and even LightScribe (disc-labeling enabled) discs as well.  Included with the eTAU208 are a plethora of advanced features that ensure seamless operation: Super AllWrite for compatibility with various CD/DVD formats; SMART-BURN for avoiding Buffer-Under-Run Errors; Smart-X for faster data extraction; and an ABS system that ensures quality recording and reading.
