Lite-On iHAS122

The Lite-On iHAS122 is a lower-end DVD/CD writer & rewriter built as a step up from the iHAS120. It features a higher DVD writing speed of 22x, but maintains its predecessor’s 48x CD speed. Like its peer, it hosts numerous notable features: SMART-BURN technology for error-free writing; SMART-X engineering for faster data extraction, and an ABS system, which works to reduce unwanted vibration and noise during recording & reading. Note also the unit’s flexibility, as it handles single/dual layer discs, as well as 12mm (standard) and 8mm (mini) discs as well. The Lite-On iHAS122, however, does not feature LightScribe disc-labeling technology.
