Introduced at CES 2009, the G35 is a high end 7.1 surround sound headset by Logitech. Using a USB connection for power and data, the G35 provides 7.1 surround sound powered by Dolby technology as well as a variety of controls such as game macro setting, voice morphing, as well as quick access to volume controls and microphone mute. The headset also includes a unidirectional, noise cancelling microphone that will pick up your voice, and negate any unwanted background racket. The G35 will ship sometime in March with an MSRP of $130.

- doesn't require a user to have a sound card (just a USB port)
- quality construction
- unidirectional, noise canceling microphone make it easy to communicate in game - even in loud environments
- Full rich sounds, deep bass, great positional audio in games.
- Mic auto-mutes when put into the 'up' position.
- Controls are all located on the headset itself - no annoying inline or desktop control modules. Just a single USB wire to plug in.
Cons
- cord is stiff and can be annoying
