Logitech Harmony 300
$50.00
Released April, 2010
The Pros:Replaces up to 4 remotes. Easy web based installation - tell it what you own, plug in to sync. Affprdable price point.
The Cons:4 remote limit is really pushing it - even for the most basic of setups. No LCD display. Isn't compatible with the Harmony software which includes many more features than the website.
The Logitech Harmony 300 is a universal remote released in April 2010. As a more budget-friendly alternative to the 600 series, the Harmony 300 rids itself of an LCD screen, and it only supports 4 simultaneous devices.

On the other hand, it’s compatible with over 225,000 devices from over 5000 brands. Signature to the relatively entry-level remote is its computer/web-driven setup, which requires a USB port, but eradicates the need to type in a series of pesky device codes. Additional features include a glossy black finish, the same size/weight as the Harmony 700, and reliance on non-chargeable AA batteries.
