The Logitech Harmony 700 is an advanced universal remote control designed to work with 5000+ brands and 225,000+ devices. It features a small color LCD screen by which users can access their favorite channels by clicking on a channel icon, versus having to remember a channel’s exact number. Its most touted feature is One-Click Control, which automatically turns on and configures the proper devices based on what a user wants to do—such as “Watch a DVD” or “Listen to a CD”. And the setup has been totally reengineered. The remote actually connects to a computer, after-which users login into Logitech’s website, download the software, and then have easy access to nearly any home entertainment device available on the market. Plus, the same USB cable can then be plugged into an AC outlet, from which it recharges the included rechargeable batteries.
