Logitech's V550 Nano is a wireless, laser mouse intended for use with notebook computers. It features a "plug-and-forget" nano receiver which is designed to be small enough such that it can stay plugged into a laptop without breaking off. The receiver/mouse combo uses 2.4 GHz cordless technology for strong signal strength but may be affected by interference from other 2.4GHz devices. The mouse comes with a "clip-and-go" dock which allows the mouse to be carried as part of the laptop as one unit. The V550 Nano has a low-battery indicator built into the unit as well as up to eighteen months of continuous battery life.
