Lost Planet 2 is a third-person shooter video game developed and published by Capcom in 2010 for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Microsoft Windows. A sequel to “Lost Planet”, Lost Planet 2 picks up 10 years after the original story. The landscape of E.D.N. III has evolved dramatically as the ice has melted, giving way to jungles and tropical areas. The player takes control of a snow pirate squad, directing battles against the Akrid and trying to stop NEVEC (evil corporation). Some recurring gameplay elements from the original include extreme terrain, major boss battles, and the ability to pilot mechanized armor suits. Most notable about Lost Planet 2 is its addition of co-op gameplay in campaign mode, allowing 4 players to team up against enemies. Plus, Lost Planet 2 allows players to create and customize their own character, including head, body, back, legs, hair-style, gestures, and more.
