The M-Audio Studiophile EX66 speaker is a high-end desktop unit designed with the purest sound audiophiles in mind. The set includes one MTM configured and bi-amplified 200 watt PWM (power per channel) studio monitor. Each EX66 speaker unit includes two 6” custom linear-piston woofers which M-Audio claims will "deliver high durability with exceptional definition and precision"; and a 1” titanium dome tweeter which M-Audio claims "produces smooth transparency without high-frequency smearing". The M-Audio EX66 speaker set is specifically optimized for all types of computer audio including music, movies and games. The body cabinet of each speaker is designed with a DSP-tuned frame for an accurate frequency response with no resonant peaks and is composed of a fully custom MDF body exterior design.
