The Maclaren Techno XLR is a full-featured, top of the line stroller of those offered by Maclaren. It is also the only single stoller to feature a car seat adaptor bar, that fits most U.S. car seat models (US only). Like all Maclaren strollers, there is a 5 point security harness, removable washable seat, water resistant hood, handy shopping basket and lockable front swivel wheels. Also common accross the series is the high performance aluminum frame that has a compact umbrella fold that can be done with one hand in 5 seconds. The carry strap or handle makes it easily transportable. This is the heaviest of the single stollers, weighing 16.5 lbs, and has a capacity of up to 65 lbs (15kg in UK/EU) for a child of any age. The two-tone square hood features storage pockets, a UV protective window, sun visor and an extra panel for added sun protection. There are ergonomically designed foam insulated handles with height adjustment for the parents comfort. For the childs comfort, there is a head hugger and shoulder pads, the seat has four recline positions with one hand operation, there is an extendable leg rest and a raincover. The front and rear wheel suspension and larger 6.5" wheels give a smoother ride for parent and child. The Maclaren Techno XLR is available in a wide variety of colors with matching two-tone harness.
