The Magellan Maestro 4040 automotive GPS receiver is part of the company's larger family of models and is equipped with a 4.3-inch full colour touch-screen display and pre-loaded maps of the 48 contiguous United States (as well as the function to import additional, compatible maps). It hosts Magellan's Bird's Eye 3D View, Multi-Destination Routing and QuickSpell systems as well as auto re-routing for correcting accidental turns and getting the driver back on the proper path. The Maestro 4040 features 1.5 million Points of Interest (POIs such as coffee shops, gas stations and more) and maintains compatibility with SD cards for storage expansion.
