Magellan's RoadMate 1412 is an automotive GPS receiver that features a 4.3-inch WQVGA, full colour, anti-glare, touch-screen display through a wide-screen and ultra-thin form design. The receiver is equipped with Magellan's SayWhere text-to-speech technology (for spoken directions and street names), the SmartDetour system (which updates route information by compensating for stopped or heavy traffic) and six million searchable Points of Interest (POIs include coffee shops, gas stations, ATMs, restaurants, hotels, etc.) with full addresses and telephone numbers assigned to them.
