The Magellan RoadMate 3055 is a mid-priced car GPS receiver. The RoadMate 3055 has an easy-to-see 4.7" touchscreen. In terms of Magellan's receiver offerings, the most unique feature of the RoadMate 3055 is the built-in Bluetooth technology.

The Bluetooth technology is equipped with a hands-free calling feature, as well as noise-cancelling microphone and contact information storage. The highway lane assist feature lets you know what is coming up so that you will always be in the best lane possible for where you are going. The RoadMate 3055's free Lifetime Traffic alerts give you up-to-the-minute advice on where best to travel in order to avoid slow-moving traffic. When leaving home, the AAA TourBook feature lets you know the best places to eat and stay. The Magellan RoadMate 3055 also has a highway exit points of interest feature, which lets you know where the nearest gas station, restaurants and hotels are located.
