Magellan's Triton 400 is one of the lower-priced models of handheld GPS receivers designed with hikers in mind. It features a 2.2-inch full colour display screen and is built to take accidental physical damage and contact with water (waterproof to IPX-7 design standards). The Triton 400 is powered by two AA batteries for roughly ten hours of use and hosts an SD card slot for storage expansion.
