Bought that toy for my bernese puppy because according to the spec sheet it was supposed to be strong enough. The puppy (7 months old) began to tear it appart in a matter of minutes, swallowed tiny bits of rubber and vomited minutes after that. Poor quality product, waste of money. It is neither strong, nor safe as the manufacturer pretended it...

I bought this for my 5 1/2 month old husky shepherd mix puppy and 3 year old shih-tzu to play with because it was supposedly extremely strong and they charged so much for it I figured it had to be quality... They had the toy for less than 30 minutes and they managed to shred it to tiny pieces and ate some of the rubber before I could grab it away. I was very disappointed, and wish I had stuck with a Kong toy like I was planning to buy- now there's a good toy, they haven't managed to ruin any of their Kongs yet.

I just posted a comment about this toy... update: my shih-tzu ate just a tiny piece of this stupid toy when him and his "brother" broke it apart and he has been throwing up for over an hour straight (he's thrown up 15 times in an hour) and now there is blood in his vomit. The poor thing is so sick and sad. I am keeping a close eye on him, getting ready to rush him over to the vet. DO NOT BUY THIS TOY!!!

My family bought this product for our 10 month old golden retriever, being told it would be a great fit because it was very durable and would stand up to her chewing/ teething phase. Our puppy our it to pieces and a few days later we found her sick, lethargic and in pain. We rushed her to the vet and they had to perform emergency surgery. They found numerous pieces that had been lodged in her intestines. They say she is doing ok but my puppy almost died because of this product. I does not state anywhere on the packaging that this product is not to be ingested. Extremely poor product. DO NOT BUY THIS TOY!!!

Somebody say class action...

This is what ProductWiki is all about, but sadly people probably don't look up dog toys before buying them :(

Now my experiencre has been positive. I have a two year old black lab, we have had several of these bones in the past year with no ill effects. These bones do fall apart into small pieces (About as small as pencil erasers) when chewed but my dog does not eat them, only spits them onto the ground, so it is very messy, I believed that was the way these are to be used. If he had ingested any he has passed them without issue. I personally was looking for more when I found this form. So I guess I will be doing more homework before ordering more. I will say this was one of my dogs favorite toys. He always pulled this from the bottom of his toy box.
