Mantra Watch

The Mantra watch is a simple watch that reveals little messages to the wearer throughout the day. As each hour goes by, a new message is exposed, in fact the message itself acts as the hour hand. The messages contain tidbits of wisdom that aims to "make the arrogant person more humble and makes the humble more confident". The Mantra watch case is made from stainless steel with a 35mm diameter. The strap is white leather with blue stitching.

I really like the concept of this watch, but 1) I would like for it to have customizable messages, and 2) it seems too repetitive. Like maybe everyday at 4pm, this future isn't so good. What are the long term effects of being told the future is good everyday at 4pm? Will I develop a dependency on the watch to tell me how to feel at different times of the day? What happens when I travel to different time zones or heaven forbid have to make adjustments for daylight savings time?
