The JVC KW-AVX640 is a mobile A/V head unit, JVC's entry-level offering for their 2011 mobile series. The KW-AVX640 is ready for Bluetooth, which you can access by purchasing JVC’s optional KS-BTA100 Bluetooth adapter. With the addition of this adapter, you get hands-free calling, audio streaming and voice dialing. This line of JVC A/V head units was created with MotionX-GPS Drive, which means that they can be used with your iPod/iPhone. Your iPod/iPhone can become a navigation device, its map data being displayed on the KW-AVX640's screen. You can also use this A/V head unit to control song playback on your iPod/iPhone. When you are playing music, it will be turned down so that this unit can give you turn-by-turn directions. The JVC KW-AVX840 is a mid-cost car A/V unit. As this line of A/V head units was created with MotionX-GPS Drive, you can use your iPod/iPhone as a navigation device with it. The map data from your iPod/iPhone can be displayed on the KW-AVX840's screen. JVC HA-M5X

JVC's HA-M5X headphones are a mid-range set and fall at the top of the "Xtreme Xplosive" (or XX) lineup. They are physically the largest model, and the earcups go fully around the ear. The earcups themselves provide ambient noise isolation, and there are soft pads around the edges to enhance comfort over long periods of listening. The underside of the headband also has padding and a camouflage design. The cups are protected against impact with rubber, and the earcups have bass ports to enhance lower frequencies. The cable of this model is Y-shaped, and the jack is gold-plated. The drivers are 50mm, and protected with noedymium magnets.

JVC Everio GZ-HM440

JVC's Everio GZ-HM440 is a mid-range HD camcorder in the 2011 Everio lineup, released concurrently with the GZ-HM450. This is the most basic model that offers full native 1080p HD recording and playback, an upgrade over the lower GZ-HM30 and HM-50 models. It also features a 2.7" LCD display that is a fullscreen touch panel. Its other features are similar to the lower models, including 1.5MP image sensor, 40x optical zoom, face detection and automatic shooting mode. This camcorder does not have any on-board flash storage, though it does have two empty SD card slots, so maximum storage capacity could be fairly large. The microphone is also upgraded, from the entry level models. Like the other Everios this comes bundled with media viewing software, compatible with Windows.

JVC SXXSW6000

The JVC SXXSW6000 is an extremely affordable 5.1 surround sound speaker system coming in at well under $100 (as low as $50). The system comprises of a powered subwoofer and five satellite speakers. The 12" high subwoofer contains a 6.5" woofer, an amp rated at 100-watts and volume knob. The rear-ported enclosure has a black woodgrain finish and a grill cloth made from acoustically transparent fabric stretched over a curved frame. The five satllite speakers feature a 2" x 3.5" asymmetrical driver that is enclosed in a 4-3/8" plastic enclosure. There is a built in crossover in each speaker so that they only handle the mid/high frequencies leaving the subwoofer to handle the lows. It should be noted that these speakers require to be plugged into a power amplifier and cannot be simply plugged into a computer or other device. Included with the system are five color coded speaker cables for an easy setup, making this an appropriate system for dorm room or other small room.

The JVC KW-HDR720 is a car CD receiver with built-in HD radio. This is closely related to the JVC KD-HDR70 in terms of functionality, but the faceplate has been redesigned in order to support a double-DIN construction. While visually they are very different, the features are all the same including dual AUX inputs compatible with virtually any portable device. The JVC JLC42BC3000 is a mid-range to high-end 42" LCD HDTV similar to the 37" JVC JLC37BC3000. Aside from size, the only differences between the two models are: the number of HDMI ports (the JLC42BC3000 sports 4, as compared to 2), USB media playback format support (the JLC42BC3000 supports video, music and images as opposed to only image viewing) and refresh rate (the JLC42BC3000 sports a 120z refresh rate rather than the standard 60Hz). The JVC MX-KC68 is a compact shelf system with a 1-CD player. Instead of three sound modes, like some of the other JVC models, it has six: rock, pop, classic, dance, hall, and stadium. It also has a "Stage Dock" an area set aside in the unit for an iPod to sit in and connect to. This allows an iPod to not only to make use of the 3-way speakers and separate subwoofer, but also allows it to be protected by the base structure of the system as opposed to having the iPod sit separately and exposed with a cord connection. The system itself is black and does not have the stylish speaker design that some of the other JVC models have.

The UX-VJ5 is a docking speaker system from JVC capable of docking two Apple devices at the same time including iPad and either iPhone or iPod. The JVC KD-R820BT is a mid-cost car CD receiver. This CD receiver is satellite radio ready, so that only a subscription is needed to access the wide array of music that satellite offers. JVC Everio GZ-HM30

JVC's Everio GZ-HM30 is an entry-level HD camcorder, and is the most basic of the new Everio lineup. It upscales output to 1920 x 1080p resolution (though it is non-native), and has 40x optical zoom. Standard definition recording is also selectable. This particular model does not have any on-board flash storage, but has a single slot for an SDHC or SDXC card. Its image sensor is 1.5 megapixels and there is a 2.7-inch LCD display on the side of the body. Recording features include AUTO mode and time-lapse, and it also uses face recognition and automatic scene adjustment. A digital image stabilizer reduces hand shake blurring. This camcorder comes bundled with media browser software and a grip belt. It has a comparatively low price point. For those who want on-board memory, the GZ-HM50 has identical features plus 8GB of flash memory, for a $40 price jump.

The JVC UX-VJ3 is an iPhone/iPod + iPad dual docking speaker system that can dock and charge two devices at once. It was announced in July 2011 by JVC along with the UX-VJ5 which also has a USB port, six color options and the ability to rip MP3 files directly to a USB key drive from the internal cd player(mounted directly behind the iPad). Both units feature an AM / FM tuner, remote control, composite video output and PC mini-USB input, while the two speakers are rated at 15W each. Other connections include a subwoofer output, an auxiliary audio input for hooking up audio devices such as CD players, MP3 players or even an old cassette deck, and a headphone output is included as well. Internal clock with programmable sleep and wake up timer has been provided, and different sound modes such as surround, turbo and preset EQ modes may be selected either from the front panel or by remote control. The system will be available in Japan mid July 2011 and in North America shortly after.

The JVC HA-RX700 are a pair of full sized headphones with extra bass provided by the large 50mm Neodymium drivers and a frequency response of 8 - 25,000 Hz. These have good bass response for the money, with a Circum-Aural design that completely covers the ears letting little sound escape. Recommended for home use due to their size, the HA-RX700 are for audiophiles who enjoy good sound and huge bass, however they can also be used for critical listening situations like audio mixing. Pressure dispersion mesh head pad has been used for extra comfort during long listening sessions, and JVC's own Ring port structure provides high-quality dynamic sound. There is no volume toggle switch on the cord which might deter some, but can be overlooked considering the sound quality and bass response. JVC's KW-NT30HD is a high-end automobile navigation system that also includes a built-in HD radio tuner. The radio is a main feature, as is connectivity with iPod or iPhone products in order to play music and video, as well as see detailed album art or song information. JVC's KW-NT50HD is a high-end automobile navigation system that also includes a built-in HD radio tuner. It is a step above the concurrently-released KW-NT30HD, though it has many of the same features. The main upgrade is that this model has a lifetime subscription to an HD radio traffic and news service, as well as sports scores. Also, the KW-NT50HD has dual tuners, making it possible to simultaneously receive traffic data and listen to standard HD radio. Also, these news and info features work via a paired phone's data connection if the user is outside an HD radio area. The map base is powered by Google Maps, and the unit uses Windows Automotive OS, and there is also Bluetooth connectivity allowing hands-free phone use through the car's main speakers. The radio feature can tag songs for downloading in iTunes. There are many navigation features, including text-to-speech and voice guidance in English, French and Spanish, points of interest, visited destinations, speed limit and speed alert displays. The display itself is a relatively large touchscreen (6.1"), and features a removable faceplate to discourage theft. A proprietary iPhone app turns the iPhone into a sort of remote control for the player. This model has a $200 price increase over the one with no subscription.

JVC's Everio GZ-HM450 is a mid-range high-definition camcorder, the fourth standard model in the 2011 Everio lineup. Its features are identical to the GZ-HM440 save the one main difference that it has 8GB of internal flash storage. It also has a slot for an SD card, to expand capacity if desired. Other features are the same, including a Konica Minolta HD lens with 40x optical zoom, image stabilization, face recognition and automatic shooting modes. The side-mounted display is also a touchscreen and measures 2.7 inches. Bundled software is compatible with Windows and facilitates media browsing. This is the least expensive 2011 Everio that includes both onboard storage and full (not upscaled) HD playback. An expected price difference of around $50 separates this from the GZ-HM440.

The JVC Everio GZ-MS110 is a standard definition camcorder with the lowest price point in the Everio product line. The device does not have the same quantity, or quality, of features as others in the JVC's 2010 releases and is intended to a bare bones option for those who do not need advanced functionality. JVC's Everio GZ-HM960 is a forthcoming HD video recorder, to be released February 2011. This is the flagship model in the new Everio lineup, and the real distinguishing feature is an integrated 2D-to-3D image converter, which allows playback to be viewed in HD on the camera's screen (without 3D glasses), or sent to a compatible 3D TV. This, and the model below it (the GZ-HM860) feature the Everio's best quality optics, compared to the lower models, optimized for this particular CMOS sensor. The sensor itself is drastically larger than most other JVC models, at 10.1 megapixels. This means that still images are also taken at this resolution. This model has a 3.5" touchscreen. Other key features include Bluetooth connectivity to sync with wireless devices, 10x optical zoom, face recognition, and 16GB of onboard flash storage. JVC's Everio GZ-HM860 is a high-end HD camcorder scheduled for release in February 2011. At its core this model strongly resembles the pricier GZ-HM960, and indeed many of the features are the same. The only real differences are that this one lacks the 2D-to-3D converter and 3D LCD display. Otherwise, they are similar: 1080p HD video recording, included HDMI cable, specialized optics for use with this particular high-res sensor (10.1 MP). Onboard memory is 16GB and the lens has a large aperture for better performance in low-light. Optical zoom telescopes to 10x, and still images can be taken at 11 megapixel resolutions. Other main features include Bluetooth connectivity for transfer among wireless devices, smile detection and intelligent auto shooting mode, an integrated image stabilizer and LED flash/camera light. While it does lack the 3D features and touchscreen, the GZ-HM860 is the most feature-rich non-3D camcorder from JVC, and its price is $200 lower than the 3D version.

JVC's Everio GZ-HM50 is an entry-level HD camcorder, the second in the 2011 Everio lineup. It upscales output to 1920 x 1080p resolution (though it is non-native), and has 40x optical zoom. Standard definition recording is also selectable, and this grants 70x dynamic zoom. The only upgrade over the lower GZ-HM30 is onboard storage of 8GB, and it still has a slot for an SD card, so total memory can be expanded. Other features are the same: 1.5 megapixel sensor, 2.7-inch LCD display, face recognition, and automatic scene selection. This camera has automatic and time delay recording modes and a digital image stabilizer to improve blurring caused by hand shake. This camcorder comes bundled with media browser software and a grip belt. Its price point is about $40 higher than the HM-30, which lacks the flash memory.

The image sensor is relatively small (1.5 MP), but this helps to image sizes low, ultimately allowing for up to 50 hours of full 1080p video to be recorded. This is because the hard disk is 120GB, larger than any of the concurrent Everio models. There is an onboard digital image stabilizer, and optical zoom reaches 40x magnification. Other features include time-lapse recording mode, auto recording, face detection, and precise, responsive buttons for zoom and record. It includes media browsing software for Windows as well. It should be noted that this model's image sensor is smaller than even the lower-range new Everio models, and this is to keep the main emphasis on long recording sessions and lots of room for on-board storage. JVC's Everio GZ-HM690 is a higher-end model in the 2011 Everio lineup, and is the most feature-laden of the 3.32-MP sensor models. A backlit sensor enhances low-light image quality. The main upgrade over the HM670 below it is a doubling of onboard memory, to 64GB. It still includes an SD card slot to expand memory, if desired. The standard Everio features are included with this model, such as intelligent AUTO mode, face detection, and a 2.7-inch LCD touch screen. Other features include an integrated LED light, image stabilization, improved sound quality over the entry-level Everio models, and time-delay recording. It should be noted that this model really is the top-of-the-line model for its class; the more expensive Everio GZ-HM860 and GZ-HM960 models are qualitatively different for many reasons (zoom, lens build, sensor size, playback modes, capacity) and don't really compare directly.

The JVC NX-PN10 is a 2 port iPod/iPhone docking speaker system that lets you play and charge two devices at the same time. The LT-42P510 is the 42" model in JVC's TeleDock series of 1080p LCD HDTVs featuring built-in iPod/iPhone docks. The JVC RA-P1B is a low-end iPod docking station compatible with most iPod models, including the iPod Touch, as well as the iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS. It can be operated via standard AC power or with 4 AA batteries. The JVC RA-P1B's alarm function is able to utilize whichever type of iPod or iPhone is connected or the radio via FM tuner. Additionally, other playback devices can function with the RA-P1B through a traditional audio input.

Any iPhone or iPod device that is docked with the RA-P1B will be powered and charged by the RA-P1B, making it a convenient alternative charging station.
