The Marantz SR6004 is a 7.1 channel A/V receiver offered by Marantz which has 110 watts of power per channel and several advanced features such as video scaling, Bluetooth capability and support for the latest Dolby TrueHD & PLIIz / dts-HD surround sound formats. The SR6004 is designed to give maximum connectivity options while maintaining a high quality sound output. It has plenty of connectivity options including four HDMI, three component, five RCA and one S-video input with two HDMI, one component and two composite outputs. There is also a front USB port capable of playing WMA, MP3 and WAV files from an iPod or other portable device. The Audyssey Dynamic EQ corrects loudness compensation curves to match the artists intended tonal balance and Audyssey Dynamic Volume automatically turns down the volume during annoying commercial breaks. The SR6004 features new color GUI screens for and easy to understand and quick system setup. There are also additional inputs for Sirius or XM satellite tuners and it comes with a backlit remote control.

- audiophile receiver - includes audio-specific features such as 'pure direct', created with audio quality a primary concern

Cons
- HDMI outputs are not for multi-zone usage / will not output simultaneously
