"I'm not a fan of plastic. Though, I give this infuser points for design and convenience. However, I don't see why you'd pay more for this, than for a simple stainless steel infuser. I use this type of infuser for 4 cup pots, and for single infusions. Overall, it's more flexible, durable and it's not plastic more

"I have used this infuser for brewing loose leaf tea. This infuser scores points for convenience, as do most of this type of infuser - however - as any tea lover knows, tea leaves need room to breathe, otherwise the infusion suffers."
