Mathmos Thaw Candle

Ah, finally a product that is both stylish, environmentally friendly and super cool. This candle holder, designed by Matthew Jackson, is made of ice. You freeze the water overnight in a mould, and once its frozen, take it out as a candle shade. As the night progresses the ice melts, letting more light through. Don't worry though, the ice doesn't just melt all over your coffee table, it actually falls back into the mould, ready to be frozen again - talk about renewable!
