The Maytag Performance MHWE500VW is a 4.0 Cu.Ft. front loading washer featuring commercial-grade components and a smooth balance suspension system for quiet, durable performance.  The washer has a built-in 1000-watt water heater along with 10 wash cycles, 3 options, 4 water temperature settings, and 3 soil level settings for custom washing.  It also includes an NSF certified sanitization cycle that raises the water temperature to eliminate 99.9% of bacteria as well as a clean washer cycle with Affresh.  The Performance MHWE500VW has a convenient 3-tray dispenser drawer with timed release settings for detergent, bleach, and fabric softener and an 10-hour delay start option.  It also includes additional features such as an intelligent temperature control and water level sensor and a MaxExtract spin option.  The washer is available in a white or evergreen finish and comes with a 1 year warranty.  It also offers the highest energy and water savings out of Maytag's three Performance series washers since it is Energy Star qualified and CEE Tier III rated.  Compared to Maytag's MHWE300VW, the Performance MHWE500VW has a SteamClean option and steam sanitization cycles to lift dirt from fabric and also has a longer delay start option.
