The Crestron QM-FTCC-TPS4 is a high-end media controller. This is a means of controlling all your media (including PC, DVD and TV), and even your room lighting, in one place. The 3.6" color touchpanel and keypad are angled for easy use. The user interface of the QM-FTCC-TPS4 is fully customizable for the functions you need to control (with ten programmable push buttons). The graphics engine of this device is the 16-bit Isys platform, which provides 3D graphics and animation. Though they have many of the same specs, the QM-FTCC-TPS4 is a step up from the lower cost C2N-FT-TPS4 in that it has an RGB/component audio interface feature (for a connection to a computer or other high resolution source), a dual-channel gated mic/line preamp (the controls of which are adjustable), the video sensing/auto-switching feature, LAN cable pass-thru, QuickMedia feature (for high-quality audio/video transport, works with cable runs of up to 450 feet), and the easy setup features (such as Crestron SystemBuilder software). The Yamaha YMC-700 is the upper model of two neoHD media controllers offered by Yamaha which features WiFi and Ethernet connectivity. The YMC-700 not only allows you to enjoy all your AV sources with high quality but also features an easy on screen operation GUI (graphical user interface) and simplified remote control that allows you to control all your AV devices. It has 3 HDMI inputs and 1 output with HDMI video upconversion from other inputs, including component and composite inputs and has outputs for a 5.1 speaker system. The built in Rhapsody Technology gives you access to the Rhapsody digital music service that lets you listen to whatever music you want for a small monthly fee. This system is DLNA certified which ensures it has been tested and proven compatible with various CE, PC and mobile devices designed according to the DLNA Interoperability Guidelines. The Yamaha MCX-P200 is a pre-amp network music player that is a part of Yamaha's MusicCAST2 system. When you open the FlipTop housing of this device, you see the 3.6" color touchpanel and keypad, which are angled for easy use. You control it from there. The user interface of the C2N-FT-TPS4 is fully customizable for the functions you need to control (with ten programmable push buttons). The graphics engine of this device is the 16-bit Isys platform, which provides 3D graphics and animation. This device also has WAV file audio playback. With the eight connectors in the bottom plate, virtually any AV, communication, or data source may be hooked up. The C2N-FT-TPS4 differs from the higher cost QM-FTCC-TPS4 in that it lacks an RGB/component audio interface feature, a dual-channel gated mic/line preamp, the video sensing/auto-switching feature, LAN cable pass-thru, and the easy setup features.
