The Corda 2Move by Meier-Audio is a high quality portable headphone amp and the successor to the well liked Corda Move. Not much has changed from the original Move, but what has, is the DAC chip. It was replaced with a very nice sounding high quality piece and will really make your PC or Laptop sing when plugged into the USB port. The Corda 2Moves very good sound signature (even better than some much higher priced units) has made it quite popular with the portable audiophile crowd. However, soundquality is not where it stops with this amp. The build quality is very nice with it's all aluminum shell which can stand up to the abuse a portable rig may go through. Also the amp comes with a very well implemented crossfeed option which can be turned on and off via a switch on the front panel. A drawback of the Corda 2Move is that it does not have a rechargeable battery installed but instead runs on a 9V block. Battery life is very long though, so it is not too much of an inconvenience and when the DAC is used, the 2Move draws power from the USB port. The next thing that one should be aware of is that the AUX in/out can feel a little unsecured when a cable is plugged in and it's possible for the plug to slide out slightly when moved around. Regardless of these small quirks, overall the Corda 2Move is a top notch amp with high quality components, good features and very good SQ.
