The Memorex MVBD-2510 is a more consumer friendly lower-end Blu-Ray player designed to give the maximum features for the lowest price. With a MSRP of $269.99 it beats the average price of about $700+ for other similiar players. Most consumers have been holding off till the price of Blu-Ray players dropped below the prices of a Playstation 3, due to the fact that the PS3 offers much more for what, in most cases, is a much cheaper price. The MVBD-2510 features full 1080p/24p, 60p progressive scan HD output and standard DVD upconversion available up to the same 1080p resolution (480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p). It also provides 5.1 multi channel audio output with additional support for HD audio content; Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby True-HD, and DTS-HD audio.
