The Logitech M310 improves on its predecessor by incorporating a full-size, contoured design with soft rubber grips that feel more comfortable to the hand, especially after many hours of use. Plus it also hosts a low-battery indicator and an on/off switch, but it adds along a 12-month battery life guarantee.

This mouse has onboard memory profiles. You can program up to five profiles of individual players or games (including any macros you may have programmed), so that you can play on other computers without any hassle. The LED display of this mouse allows you to sort through and access the information you need. The individually sculpted buttons of the Logitech Wireless Gaming Mouse G700 make it so you can identify each one by touch, which means there is less chance of hitting the wrong button. The design of this mouse is made for comfortability, curving to the natural curves of the hand. This cuts down on soreness and fatigue when playing long sessions. The polytetrafluoroethylene feet glide smoothly, so that you will not get caught up on your desk when you are trying to manoeuvre. It is one big button and is touch-sensitive, with the capabilities of Apple’s laptop touch pads. It even has multitouch controls. Scroll up and down on Web sites by dashing your finger up and down on the top of the mouse. Scroll through screens in Safari or iPhoto by swiping two fingers left to right. Hold down the Control key and scroll with one finger to zoom in or out the screen. However, the Magic Mouse takes a little bit of getting used to. It is difficult to keep the mouse in place, particularly when swiping with two fingers. It is also rather narrow and doesn't work with Windows PC and the functions are non-customizable. But it pairs easily with Macs and is ambidextrous.

This mouse runs on Logitech's 2.4Ghz wireless technology (featuring a unifying receiver), which offers fast data transmission and virtually no delays or dropouts. The Wireless Mouse M515 will give you about two years of battery life on a pair of AAs. This is partially because of this mouse's hand detection feature, which ensures that your mouse is only active when you are gripping it, staying asleep when you are not using it. The easy-gliding base of this mouse allows you to use it on couches, carpets, and other unconventional surfaces. The bottom of the Wireless Mouse M515 is sealed, so that fuzz will not collect in the sensor opening if you use the mouse in odd places. As this mouse supports hyper-fast scrolling, you can coast smoothly and quickly through long blogs or social networking feeds. This mouse comes with a three year limited hardware warranty. The M510 uses laser technology, but lacks the advanced DPI engine option that comes with the 518. Regardless, the M510, like its weaker optical counterpart (the M310) hosts a full-size, contoured design with soft rubber grips that feel more comfortable to the hand, especially after many hours of use. And it too relies on a nano USB receiver to wireless transmit signals to and from a PC. However, the M510 adds along programmable controls in addition to back/forward buttons. This means users can engage in side-to-side scrolling, zoom in/out, etc. Additional features include a battery light indicator and a two-year battery life.

Logitech VX Revolution

The Logitech VX Revolution is a portable laser mouse that, because of its small size, is designed for laptop use while maintaining many of the features found in desktop mice. One of its most notable features is its MicroGear Precision Scroll wheel that can be set to two modes of operation from a switch on the bottom of the mouse. In the first mode, the scroll wheel operates with detented action (typical clicking scroll action), and in the second mode it operates in an almost frictionless fashion. In the frictionless mode, the scroll wheel keeps spinning when flicked, allowing you to very quickly scroll through large documents, and lists.

The VX Revolution includes a high-resolution laser engine for accurate tracking on almost all surfaces. It also includes a click-to-click scrolling function as a new method of scrolling through lists using mouse clicks. It operates wirelessly on a 2.4 GHz frequency with the USB transmitter/receiver dongle tucking away into the mouse itself when traveling. Reviews have suggested that you can get up to an 80 ft. (24 m) range from the dongle.

This new technological advancement allows the mouse to track more easily on surfaces that laser and optical mice struggle with (but it still wont work on mirrored or transparent surfaces of course) - which is all a non-issue for those that use a mousepad of any kind. The explorer also features a convenient charger, and while solidly constructed, the mouse is far from perfectly designed due to poorly placed back/forward buttons and the low placement of the sensor on the body of the mouse - making twisting motions almost completely ignored. The steep price of $80 also doesn't help, putting this fairly mainstream offering in a league with the top-of-the-line mice from Microsoft's competitors.

It utilizes Microsoft’s proprietary BlueTrack technology, which works on any surface, including granite countertops, airport carpets, and even a park bench. Included is a mini USB transceiver that can be snapped onto the bottom of the mouse to turn it off, thereby saving battery life. The major drawback to this is that the transceiver must be removed from the computer and placed back into the mouse every single time that a user wants to shut the mouse off. Additional features include glowing blue lighting effects, 4-way scrolling, and a 4-month battery lifespan.

A4Tech Wireless Battery Free Mouse

First there were corded mice. Then the cord was cut, but a new hassle was introduced: batteries. Now comes the next evolution in computer mouse technology, the A4Tech battery free cordless mouse. Since the mouse is an electrical object, it has to derive its power from somewhere, and the mouse pad is the crucial link. A4Tech hasn't gotten rid of the mouse cord, instead they've moved it from the mouse where it gets in the way, to the stationary mouse pad.

The mouse pad connects to your computer through a standard USB cable and gets its power from there. The pad then creates an electrical field that interacts with the internal circuitry inside the mouse and gives it power. As a result, the mouse must be used directly on its mouse pad.

There are many versions of the wireless battery free mouse that are catered towards different end users.

NB-20 - Mini mouse meant for portability for notebook computers. The pad contains a retractable USB cord.

NB-30/NB-35 - basic office mouse. Two normal buttons, and a single scroll wheel. The difference between the 30 and 35 versions is the way they look with the 35 having a more see-through body casing.

NB-50/NB-57 - adds two more buttons and zooming functionality.

NB-70/NB-90 - Both mice contain two scrollable wheels for vertical and horizontal movement. The NB-70 has five programmable buttons, while the NB-90 has six and the 2nd scroll wheel on the side of the mouse.

NB-80 - 8 programmable buttons and a more ergonomic shape.

NB-95 - 6 programmable buttons, and an easy access second scroll wheel that allows both wheels to be controlled by one index finger.

X-708K - meant for hardcore gamers features upgraded specs for improved performance.

The WarMouse Meta is a mouse designed to help with complicated appliations and gaming. The most striking feature of the WarMouse Meta is the fact that it has 18 buttons on it (that is, 16 more than a regular mouse). The Meta Modeware software included allows you to assign specific functions to each button (for example, opening certain websites or programs). You can create and alter the application profiles of each button. There are also 63 operating modes available. These modes correspond to specific programs, websites and games. The buttons are divided in half by the clickable scroll wheel into left and right groupings. On each far side are the regular left and right click buttons. The other seven buttons on each side are labeled A1-A7 and B1-B7, and the left edge has a joystick and rounded-triangle clicker. This design is geared toward making the many commands of games like World of Warcraft realizable on a single mouse. This goal was the inspiration for the WarMouse Meta's creation, though this mouse will also be useful for applications that have nested pull-down menus and hotkey combinations. WarMouse promotes the Meta as having 12x the functionality of a regular two-button mouse.

Features

18 buttons

Color: Black

Rounded-triangle clicker

63 operating modes

It is similar to another mouse by HP, the Wireless Laser Comfort Mobile Mouse by Studio Tord Boontje. They share similar features, such as a high precision laser sensor, and a four-way scroll wheel. The Wireless Laser Mini Mouse ultimately has an advantage however, as it has many more features, including a battery life monitor, and standby/sleep mode. The mouse uses an 800dpi laser sensor, which enhances the performance of the mouse. It makes the mouse more accurate, which can help the user greatly in certain applications such as image editing software, animation software, or PC games. The battery life monitor of the mouse takes the form of a single indicator light. When the battery power becomes low, the light will go off, alerting the user that they need to replace the battery. This can help avoid a situation where the mouse runs out of power during usage. The mouse may also be used by both right and left handed users, letting the user configure the mouse to match their dominant hand. This ensures that regardless of the user's dominant hand, they will be able to control the mouse precisely.

800dpi laser sensor

It shares certain aspects with one of HP's other mice, the 2.4GHz Wireless Laser Mobile Mouse. These aspects include the fact that both right-handed and left handed users can use them. The similarities end there however, as the Wireless Comfort Mouse builds upon anything the 2.4GHz Wireless Laser Mobile Mouse had. This includes an LED battery monitor, which lets the user always know how much life is left in the battery, and when it's time to change it. This can avoid a bad situation where the battery simply dies without warning. It also features a four-way tilt wheel, which lets the user scroll right to left instead of just up and down. This can be used in a number of applications, including internet browsers and photo editing software, to add convenience. Another important feature of the Wireless Comfort Mouse is it's programmable buttons, which allow the user to assign any kind of function to them. These can range from zooming, to launching a web browser, or even controlling volume.

As for connectivity, the mouse uses a snap-in mini transceiver that can be tucked into the mouse for storage/carrying, and that transmits from a computer — after being plugged in — through 2.4GHz wireless technology for a maximum range of 30’. Additonal features include blue lighting effects, 4-way scrolling, and customizable buttons.

Once connected the receiver can send/transmit signals from a distance of 30’, which is in fact a 20’+ improvement from previous Logitech Wireless models.

Core to the 8000 is its high-definition laser technology, which is a grand-step up from optical in that it is more precise and responsive. And since it does function off a battery, a convenient on/off switch is included on the mouse to help further extend the battery life — which on two fully charged AA batteries is 3 months. Additional features include 4-way scrolling, a carrying case, and an ergonomic design meant to prevent carpal tunnel syndrome.

Ergonomically designed, Footime™ foot mouse and programmable pedal can help people with hand, arm, shoulder, or, more generally, upper body stresses/difficulties by allowing them to do all PC entries (typing and surfing) by foot. It’s a two-part input device: one for cursor control (“slipper”), the other for mouse clicks and shortcuts (the pedal). The slipper-shaped cursor controller is intuitively easy to use and efficient (in the same way as moving a regular mouse by hand). With elastic strap and Velcro ends, the “slipper” can fit any sizes of foot. Compatible with Windows & Mac OS X 10.3 and later.
