"This appears to be one of the fullest featured receivers in this price range. Perhaps the biggest improvement over the predecessor (3800) is the video processing. Speculation is that the chip is the ABT 2010, the only ABT chip with PReP. This is a step up from the 3800 which used an ABT scaler chip, and some no name deinterlacer chip. Instead, the 2010 is a video processor on a chip and "should" have an excellent deinterlacer. Some other bonuses over the 3800 are two HDMI outputs, multi-point YPAO, HD Radio and more music streaming features."
