The Microsoft LifeCam NX-3000 model is a high-end webcam designed specifically for notebooks and portable use. The NX-3000 supports high resolution 640 x 480 pixel videos, and takes high-def 1.3 megapixel photos. The NX-3000 also boasts several quick access features such as one touch blogging through Windows Live Spaces, a Windows Live call button and a special photo swap function which allows quick access to an internet video call. The webcam also includes a built-in microphone which Microsoft claims will deliver "crystal-clear audio" through an automatic audio control. The NX-3000 also includes additional features such as a focus depth of 21"- 60", 3x digital zoom, a swivel lens, a convenient carrying case, pan and tilt functions, and special video effects built into the lifecam dashboard.
