The Cons:Inflates the importance of multi-touch - really not an issue for the vast majority of people. Windows only. Loses the much more luxurious volume and backlight knobs of the older X6.
The Microsoft SideWinder X4 is a wired keyboard released in March 2010 especially for hardcore gamers. It features Applied Sciences Groups’ advanced anti-ghosting technology, which ensures that every key press is correctly detected regardless of how many other keys are pressed at the same time.

This allows gamers to use complex key combinations as they play a video game. Included also is macro recording for stringing together multiple keystrokes into one simple press of a button; automatic macro repetition for repeating the macro; and mode/profile switching for customizing the keyboard for various games and users.
