Microsoft SideWinder X8

Announced in mid September 2008 after the newly launched wired SideWinder X5, the Microsoft SideWinder X8 is a new wireless mouse targeted towards die-hard gamers who need the ultimate performance hardware. Planned for release in February 2009, the SideWinder X8 will feature Microsoft's new BlueTrack tracking technology that is heralded as being superior to the optical and laser tracking found in all previously released mice, allowing for a never before seen 4000dpi resolution, 13,000 frames per second, 75g maximum acceleration and 120 inches per second maximum speed. With the same 2.4GHz RF wireless connectivity as the latest wireless gaming mice, the X8 can be used for up to 30 hours before needing to be recharged, or can be used with a recharge wire in place.
