The Microsoft Wireless Entertainment Desktop 7000 is a wireless keyboard/mouse set featuring a battery-operated ergonomic wireless keyboard and rechargeable wireless laser mouse. Both devices utilize a single 2.4GHz Bluetooth transceiver that maintains a stable connection from a distance of up to 30’. Included is a recharging station for the mouse, as well as a battery status indicator that lets a user know when the charge is running low. As for the keyboard, it utilizes an ergonomic comfort curve design that is much more friendly to users’ wrists and helps prevent unwanted injuries. Signature to the system is that the keyboard includes a navigation pad; this means users can command their PC from the comfort of a sofa seat without having to worry about bringing along the mouse.
