has anyone followed this guide?

quite frankly im lost and modding with the crummy 8 gig drive, which was stock, that was easy but now i feel like im over my head. My drive is 320 gigs and a western digital this is the only guide that refers to larger hdds', ive seen your advice is both sought and appreciated.
