XBMC : can i play cdr/cdrw with an .avi files writen on it ?

can i copy an avi file (say a film/torrent i downloaded) to a cdr/cdrw, and then play it on my xbox after it is soft modded this way?

	Yes. As long as your Xbox Optical drive is compatible with the specific CDR/CDRW or DVD-R. They are known to be picky. I have found that all writable DVDs work, but only CD-RWs work on my Xbox.
