DVD 2 Xbox?

Erik, I just installed DVD 2 Xbox and I am currently backing up my DVD's to my PC through a SMB share. The problem I am having is when I attempt to play VOB file from my PC, XBMC is not recognizing files within the folder as a DVD. How do I get XBMC to recognize the VOB files and play them like a normal DVD?

I don't have access to my Xbox to test this out. However, I was under the impression (and have done this myself) that you simply "run" the .VOB like you would any movie file. XBMC lists .VOB as a supported file format.

Can you see the .VOB file in XBMC? I don't believe you have menu support or anything. It's not my expertise however. I've never used DVD 2 Xbox myself.

In my experience, XBMC plays the VOB file like a normal movie file, but without the menus and chapters and such. I think another file stores the menu/chapter information, but I don't know which is the correct file to run to access everything like a normal DVD. It's definitely not the VOB though.

sorry, I should have been clearer. I am able to run the VOB files, it's just that XBMC is not detecting the DVD chatper information. Also, I thought XBMC used IMDB.COM for information about the films? Not sure thou?

Does anybody know how to enable the DVD - function with in XMBC? I read on the site last night at an upgrade (buggy) will play back up DVD streams?
