workgroup not found

did anybody fix this issue, and how? cause I am having the same trouble since a couple of weeks. I so don't understand: I can ping my xbox, ftp it. From my xbox, I can access the internet (weather), I can see my computer name from the workgroup, but when I click on my computer name, I am having: error: success!

Well you can disable your Windows Firewall entirely, or you can try this out: click me.

I had the same problem and I hadn't manually changed anything, maybe an automatic update happened, or whatever, but I went into the firewall settings, then exceptions and found that file sharing was not selected. I selected it and BAM!!! problem solved.  Hope this helps.

After fighting with this for a few days, going over everything that has changed like Omar said, I had it working while my PC was booting up then poof it stopped working ..right as Peerguardian popped up.  i realized that my new altered  block list in peerguardian it was covering the ip of my xbox.
