An RC plane genius defies the laws of Physics

I stumbled across an some amazing footage of an RC plane piloted by enthusiast Armin Mangelmann of Germany. He was the winner of the 2005 Carvin indoor flight competition and manufacturers and sells RC goods. The Carvin footage made the rounds on digg a while back, but I found an even more amazing demonstration. I've compiled three of the best videos of this amazing flyer known as MiMoYAK. You won't believe your eyes.

MIMOYAK first flight

This video is available on mamo-models.com in the video sektion (it's a German site).

Carvin winning flight

This was the original video made popular on digg.

I wonder how many planes this guy had to go through before getting this good. Depending on how complicated the remote is, there might be a video game possibility here. Just practice in the virtual world so you don't have to spend tons of cash on a bunch of busted models. Of course when you go out to the model plane arena you'll have to deal with the grumpy veterans that tell you how "games are nothing like the real thing kid".

This plane ways less than half-a-pound, so there wouldn't be much damage because it is so light. It's also only $60.
