The Numark M6 USB is an entry-level, four-channel mixer designed to function with standard audio sources (phono, line, mic, USB) in addition to turntables and CD players. In fact, when connected to a PC, DJs can mix audio in from the computer and then record it into any audio recording application, including the PC. Also featured is a three-band EQ and LED metering per channel, a replaceable crossfader with slope control, and a dedicated XLR microphone channel. The Stanton SMX.311 is a simple, low-cost 3 channel mixer. The unit consists of basic EQ and fader controls without any extra features such as effects or loop sampling. The Numark X5 is a four-channel digital club DJ mixer designed to compliment a pair of V7s, though it is compatible with all turntables, CD players, and other sources. The Numark M4 is a basic three-channel tabletop mixer. The design and features closely resemble the Numark M2, with the only major difference being the additional channel. The replaceable crossfader can be reversed and has an adjustable slope. Each channel has a 3-band EQ, along with rotary kills for quick effects without crossfading. Both phono and line inputs are available for each channel, allowing both turntables and CD players to be used. The 1/4 in microphone input has its own EQ, and two RCA outputs allow separate controlling of master and recorded audio. The Numark CDMIX2 is a dual CD player and 2-channel mixer all in one. This unit is similar to the Numark CDMIX1, but has been redesigned with brighter paneling and backlit displays to make everything easier to see. The Behringer Pro Mixer VMX1000USB is a 7-channel ultra-low noise mixer. This is similar to the original Behringer Pro Mixer VMX1000, but with a USB inputerface that allows for the use of software. The Numark C3FX is a 4-channel rack mixer with extra mic inputs and digital effects. This is similar to the Numark C3, but the fifth channel has been removed to add digital effect controls and support for a total of 5 microphones. An integrated DSP fills out the sound, making lower quality audio sources sound better. The Numark 5000FX is a lower cost five–channel tabletop mixer with basic sampling functions. Two separate Beatkeeper units are used to auto-detect BMP, allowing easier synchronization between two sources, and built in BMP sycnhronization allows the system to handle mixing for you. The internal sampling system allows for 30 second samples to be collected on the fly, and effects can be applied before looping. This uses a wheel interface to handle scratching, effects, and pitch. The Rane MP 2016S is a mid-priced mixer. This is a rotary controlled mixer, meaning it is fine-tuned by means of controls and pots rather than faders. This mixer is for sound control, as opposed to DJing. There are six input channels on the MP 2016S. The first four channels feature RIAA phono preamplifiers, which help to boost the sound and work easily with effects. The Rane TTM 56S is a mid-priced DJ mixer. Rane promotes this mixer as the world's most popular performance mixer. The universal internal power supply, a common feature on Rane's mid to premium offerings, allows you to plug this mixer in anywhere you can find a 100-240 VAC outlet. There are four inputs on the Rane TTM 56S, and each input has a Phono/Line switch, which means that you can plug in four turntables or four CD players at the same time. The TTM 56S has Kill switches that allow you to shut off a frequency on a dime. The PMC-500 is a digital mixer from the Japanese manufacturer Vestax. The Rane MP 44 is a premium DJ mixer. Rane promotes this mixer as giving you a variety of mixing options. You can use either digital or analog sources with this mixer. The MP 44 has four input buses (each with Phono/CD and Line input options), a difference between this mixer and the closely related MP 2S, which has four inputs and two program buses. The MP 44's design gives you more options for each input. With each input, you can control assignment to the A-side, B-side or Post-Crossfader. The Numark X9 is a three-channel digital DJ mixer. This is similar to the Numark X6, but with an additional channel. The Rane MP 2S is a low-cost DJ mixer. In promotion, Rane emphasizes the fact that this mixer is compact and lightweight, making it easy to transport. You can use the MP 2S with both analog and digital sources. This mixer can handle two turntables and two CD players at the same time, or four CD players if you are not a fan of vinyl. Both program buses of the MP 2S can select any of the four inputs, which means that any input can go on either side of the crossfader, giving you more mixing options (though not as many as the closely related MP 44, which has four input buses instead of two program buses with four inputs). The Pioneer DJM-600 is a 4 channel mixer built to handle beat matching and basic effects. This is similar to the Pioneer DJM-700, but doesn't use a MIDI interface. A BMP counter displays detected beats per minute for more precise mixing, and can be used to automatically synchronize onboard effects. The auto beat sampler can be set to grab precise sound bites that can be looped seamlessly according to detected beats. Samples can be played back once, in a loop, or in a stretched loop that can be adjusted on the fly. The headphone can operate in split mode with one ear on the master and the other on another channel, helping to create perfect cross fades.

The Pioneer DJM-800 is a flexible 4-channel mixer that focuses on high quality audio processing. Incoming analog signals are immediately converted by a 96 kHz 24-bit analog to digital converter. SL 3 is a comprehensive audio interface package from Rane that offers a step-up from the company's SL 1 model. Developed in conjunction with Serato, this product offers both analog and digital content playback through one or two vinyl or CD turntables. Decks are connected firstly to the unit's physical audio interface, and then to a remote Mac or PC computer via USB 2.0 bus power. Interacting with Serato's "Scratch Live" digital media player, users can transfer their high-quality audio files to either of the analog or digital "Control Discs" - two of each are provided. The Numark CDMIX3 is a dual CD and 2-channel mixer unit. This is similar to the Numark CDMIX2, but has the additional feature of being able to read MP3 CDs as well as standard audio CDs. This creates the added functionality of being able to cue up MP3 tracks for continuous and looping playback. Active environments are supported with buffered Anti–Shock memory protection, preventing bumps from interrupting playback. The Numark M3 is a basic tabletop mixer with a few extra automatic crossfade features. It uses two channels that each have phono and line inputs, although USB ports do not appear here. The Numark X6 is a two-channel DJ mixer with effects and beat matching tools. While this is a digital mixer that uses Alesis technology to faithfully pass through audio distortion-free, inputs include RCA and Mic jacks only with no USB. BEAT SYNC effects range from Echo to Vocoder, and either automatically sync to the beat or to your tap input. The Numark iDJ is a high-quality, two-channel DJ mixer featuring two integrated Apple iPod docking stations with cradle adapters included. It allows a DJ to dock and mix tracks from two separate iPods, CD players or turntables—or a combination of these sources. Users can also mix in input from a microphone. However, critics have pointed out that you can’t do pitch control to fine-tune beat matching, and you can’t listen to a cued channel in one ear while the other plays. Plus though there is an S-Video output designed for fifth-generation iPods and the iPod photo—meaning you could conceivably display photos/videos via a projector—it only pumps a signal from the left iPod, which means “it won’t be up for any VJ tasks.”
