Mongoose 2010 Pinn'R
$2,500.00
Released December, 2009
The Pros:Stiffer frame design than previous models feels more stable. Improved suspension link over previous model, does not give so easily. Versatile and appropriate for a range of uses (all mountain, downhill, jumps).
The Cons:Some components seem suspiciously low spec'd for this price (Deore shifters, pedals). Stock coil may not be supportive enough for heavier riders who want to jump.
The Mongoose 2010 Pinn'R represents two upscale mountain/free-ride bicycles designed for riding through rough and treacherous mountain and trail terrains. The Pinn’R Apprence and Pinn’R Foreman both feature a Mongoose FreeDrive Free Ride 190mm frame.

Other than that, they are quite different. The Foreman is in fact the superior of the two, as it hosts a superior Rock Shox Totem IS 180mm fork with Shimano SLX 9 speed shifters and a SRAM PG-990 Cassette11-34T cog set. Regardless, both units are cited as superior than conventional models due to their FreeRide suspension design. It enables the components to move more fluidly in either upwards or downwards treks, thereby offering the user more control and stability. The result is a safer, as well as better riding experience.
