The Motorola V191 is an entry-level flip phone, the updated version of its predecessor, the V180. It still features a 65k color screen and an exterior black and white time and date display. The two main updates are that the V191 is quad band enabled, and it features an mp3 player. The V191 has ten times more internal memory than the V180, with 10MB. It is capable of internet browsing over WAP 2.0/xHTML, and Java 2.0 enabled. It is available in silver or blue. The V191 does not, however, allow instant messaging. Its battery life is also fairly long, with around 7 hours of talk time per charge.
