I got this phone as a freeby on a 2 year contract, 2 years ago this month. This thing is not top of the line, and it does not have 'all the latest and greatest' features (and didn't at the time I got it); but I will say that this is the only cell phone that has lasted through a contract, by any maker in my history of dead cell phones.
While I have not used it as a bumper on a 4x4 or anything crazy like that, I have also dropped it and all those other small accident type things that happen to them.
Overall this is a really good phone and I am having a hard time debating about upgrading it at this point.
One bad note I will mention, the batteries don't seem to last long. I had to replace it after a year, and it is time to replace it again.
