MSi CR620-030US
$630.00
Released February, 2010
The Pros:Good price for a notebook with Core i3 processor, when many notebooks in the same price range is offering Pentium processors or worst. Surprisingly good keyboard typing feel for a budget notebook, many computers in the same price range will have low quality plastics and keyboard flex. Offers a range of in/output options for a budget notebook with multiple USB ports, HDMIT output and a media card reader.
The Cons:Windows 7 32-bit, renders the 4GB of ram useless as a 32-bit operating system can only recgonise a maximum of 3.2GB of memory. Aesthetics, the notebook looks like it is using a chassis from 2003 (much like the first ASUS notebooks). MSI is an unknown quantity outside the gaming notebook segment.
