The MSi GT640 is an Intel Calpella-based notebook released by MSi in late 2009. It was touted as the worlds most advanced gaming notebook upon its release, as it combined the recently released Intel Core i7 processor with Window’s latest operating system Windows 7. Included also is a large 15.4” (1680x1050) monitor, an nVidia GeForce GTS 250 graphics card, and 7.1-channel audio. And what with the GT640’s additional multimedia features — including a built-in DVD player and HDMI output — the MSi GT640 is essentially a full-fledged entertainment machine easily capable of processing and/or transmitting both high-definition video and audio content. And it doesn't disappoint on the outside either, as it incorporates a sophisticated aluminum alloy construction with a colorful brushed metal texturing.
