The MSi M19 is a low-end desktop PC that has the entire computer system built into the back of an LCD monitor; this particular type of computer is called a netbook. Due to the competitive pricing options and hardware benefits of similiar competitor models MSI has found itself right at the bottom of the netbook PC market alongside ASUS. The M19 is the center model in the Neton series of netbook PC's being released by MSI. The M19 features a 18.5" TFT LCD screen with touch screen capability; the monitor supports a maximum resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The M19 model netbook PC will give users the option to choose from a single or dual core Intel Atom CPU thus ultimately determining the installed operating system; single core machines will ship with the Windows XP operating system and dual core machines will ship with the Windows Vista operating system. The M19 will include a starting retail price of about $500, but the actual price will vary depending on options users choose. Unlike the low-end MSI netbook model (M16) the M19 has the entire system tucked away behind the LCD screen and does not require a bulky stand. MSI plans to ship the M19 model netbook sometime in January, 2009.
