MSi R5670-PMD1G
$130.00
Released January, 2010
The Pros:Offers 20% performance improvements over the previous generation whilst keeping power requirements the same. Cool running and low temperatures, fan control is available for users who want to tweak the already decent cooling performance. Support for EyeFinity multi-monitor setup, makes use of the 1GB VRAM.
The Cons:Screen flicker issues at certain resolutions, common problem for this model. Only offer one of each slots, two DVI or two HDMI slots would have been a nice addition for a dual slot card. The extra VRAM is of no use other than the highest resolutions.
The MSi RR5670-PMD1G is a mid-range video card for casual gamers and general workstations. It has a reasonably fast processor and a fair amount of fast memory that should be able to handle most common applications and games, but isn't right for hardcore gamers or CAD professionals who need serious horse power.
