Planned to be launched at CES 2009 in January, the MSI U300 is the eventual hybrid between netbook and full-blown laptop. Featuring a 13" screen, the device will not fall under the Wind band and does not have a confermed computing platform. MSI stated in an interview that they are looking at anything that can give the consumer a 6-7 hour battery life and that they haven't ruled out the Atom. They also claimed that the price would be low - at least compared to the $2000+ ultra portable market.
