Introduced on January 15th 2009, the Wind NetTop D130 is a miniature desktop computer from MSI. Featuring a dual-core Atom processor, 2GB of DDR2 memory, a built in DVD writer and 7.1 surround sound, the NetTop D130 is powerful enough to act as a desktop or media PC for the majority of individuals. Easily capable of running productivity and media software, the dual-core Atom processor should be able to decode 720p content without issue. Other positive aspects of the device are its size and power consumption. Utilizing only 35W of electricity, the dual-core Atom processor and its relatively low power chipset put off very little heat - allowing the device to fit into a smaller enclosure with very little active cooling required. No availability or MSRP information has been released, and further information about the devices internal components is not available, however, a price point of $240 is expected.
