The Mvix MV-2500U is a high-definition media playback device. Transfer music, photos and video on a 2.5-inch hard drive (not included) for playback on a television, stereo, or home theater. The MV-2500U is a high-def video decoder with 720p and 1080i playback. It supports multiple video formats including: MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DVD (VOB, IFO), DivX (3/4/5/6), Xvid, BivX, VCD (DAT) for PAL and NTSC systems. It is expected to retail sometime in May 2008 for $149. It supports 2.5 IDE HDD up to 250 GB capacity, that must be purchased separately.
