The Nakamichi CD 700II is an in-car entertainment system with MP3 capability. It handles CD, CD-R/RW, and MP3s and has 24-bit sound quality. The Nakamichi CD 700II uses magnets to keep the CDs stable with little skip, a features improved upon from the older CD 700 version. The magnetic disc clamping system has no direct contact with the chassis of the unit keeping it immune from external vibrations. The magnetic force itself provides greater stability and reduces the jitter caused by bumpy roads, unlike devices that hold CDs by force with spring-type clamps. This system has received great user reviews when it comes to sound quality. On the downside, it contains is a solid black color with an option lacking color scheme for back lighting and button color.
