Naoko Tea Maker

The Naoko tea maker was designed by Carsten Jorgenson over 8 years ago and has finally made it into production by Bodum USA. Its design was inspired by the Genie lamp, so as you pour out your tea you can make a wish. It has a stainless steel infuser and a capacity of 1 liter (32 oz). Perfect for brewing loose tea without fuss.

There seem to be a lot of teapots that have this modern-retro style happening. I guess the tea-people want to get away from "grandma" teapots and be thought of as cool...either way, I'm buying it.

Well, isn't that what we all want to be? Modern-retro. It speaks to our deepest desires.

I actually prefer the old-fashioned tea pots! I like having the whole china set and the whole ritual associated with tea brewing. Call me old-fashioned, but I don't care. Lol.
