Naruto: Rise of a Ninja

Naruto: Rise of a Ninja is an Xbox 360 exclusive from Ubisoft that will be released only in North America. The game follows the title character, Naruto, as he goes from a beginner ninja with no skills to a serious force. Naruto's creators sign off on all aspects of the game, and the Ubisoft team has stated that they're trying to emulate the anime series as closely as possible. As a result the release will feature the original Japanese voices with English subtitles, alongside the English voices.

Details

The game plays as a traditional quest-based action adventure title. You control Naruto and begin your journey inside the fully realized and modeled city of Konoha. There you interact with many of the shows characters who give Naruto quests to complete, upon which his skills and powers increase.

Along with exploring the city and jumping from rooftop to rooftop, Naruto can engage in one on one fights just like in the anime. Fighting takes roots from more traditional fighting games with different attacks and combos. Players can also use ninjitsu techniques, creating the handseals using the two analog sticks. Handseals can also be used during the normal adventure gameplay to activate certain abilities such as walking up walls.
